PhD Thesis prize by the EPS to Simon Gröblacher

Simon Gröblacher has been awarded with the 2011 PhD Thesis Prizes and Topics (Fundamental) for his work "Quantum opto-mechanics with micromirrors".

The European Physical Society has announced the 2011 winners of its Early Career Researcher Prizes in Quantum Electronics and Optics. These prizes are awarded only once every two years, and recognize the highest level of excellence amongst emerging researchers. 

The awards will be presented in a Ceremony on Tuesday May 24th 2011 during the Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO) Europe, held during the World of Photonics Congress in Munich, Germany.
